Forks of the Credit Provincial Park

Caledon, ON L7K 2H8

For those of us who like to get out for a bit of hiking, Forks of the Credit Provincial Park is another great one to check out. There are lots of hilly trails around pretty kettle lakes, through meadows and woodland. There are a couple of nice bridges over the Credit River (one of them over a low waterfall). If you take a picture of the trail map (right at the parking lot) you can have the map with you to help you figure out where you want to go. The trails are marked but if you are easily confused, like I am, it can be really helpful to be able to check the map! There are also some pit toilets at the parking lot and a place to picnic with tables near some apple trees.
