Elora Gorge Conservation Area

7400 Wellington Rd. 21, Elora, ON N0B 1S0

The Elora Gorge Conservation Area is another popular day trip destination just outside the village of Elora. There are campsites for those who want to be out in nature longer, but even if you just have an hour or two, you can enjoy the trails along the gorge or go tubing on the river. There’s an interesting place along the trail where you can walk down through a hole in the rock to a little clearing near the edge of the gorge. It’s a pretty spot, with the tall cliffs and very old trees growing in the cracks and crevasses. In the park generally there are plenty of good picnic sites, and even washrooms with flush toilets.
