Niagara Botanical Gardens

2405 Niagara River Pkwy, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 6S4

If you’re looking for a quiet place away from the crowds at the Falls, there’s a beautiful escape just a few minutes’ drive along the gorge. The Niagara Botanical Gardens are well-maintained formal gardens featuring tall clipped hedges, a lovely parterre, ponds with little bridges, and gorgeous old trees in shady parkland. There’s also a rose garden with a large fountain. Other than the fee for parking, there’s no charge to visit the gardens, but if you’d like to splurge a little while you’re there, you can visit the Butterfly Conservatory and/or grab a bite to eat at the Butterfly Café.
